It was an honor for the First Church Stoneham Food Pantry to be nominated once again to receive funds from the Salem Five Bank Charitable Foundation!
Lynn Haddad, Food Pantry Director of Operations (left), Kevin Rourke, Senior Vice President/Tournament Chairperson, and Reem Rajeh (right), Salem Five Branch Manager, were on hand on November 15 as the pantry was awarded a generous $3500. Thank you Reem for nominating us and being such a good friend to the pantry! The funds were raised by the Salem Five Annual Charitable Golf Tournament and 24 organizations were the beneficiaries of the foundation's benevolence.
Our thanks also go out to the tournament sponsors, participants, and especially the behind-the=scenes individuals who came together to make the Salem Five Annual Golf Tournament a fund-raising success.
First Church Stoneham Food Pantry provides food assistance to more than 100 households each month, spends an average of $1800 per month to purchase the most requested grocery items and $1225 a month for store gift cards.
